Hi, I'm Aaron.

I am forever grateful to all those Google search results, technical guides, StackOverflow posts, blogs and the like that helped provide that crucial missing piece of information I needed to move forward on a problem. This blog is my way of contributing to that online body of knowledge in the hope that it may help others in return.

I am a lecturer in computer science at Deakin University, Australia. My blog topics revolve around my PhD and lessons learned, running a home server (with a focus on Proxmox), home ownership and improvements, and technology.
